Some of my tiles are chipped or damaged; how should I address this?

Sometimes, fragile items like tiles might arrive with minor chips. Generally, if only a few tiles are affected, they can still be utilized for cuts needed during installation. Since some tile material is inevitably discarded as waste when cutting, we recommend ordering an additional 10 to 15% to account for wastage. Your tiler can advise whether the chipped tiles can be used or if replacements are necessary to complete the project.

Please note: any transit damage, visible damage, or short shipment must be reported within 48 hours of delivery, with photos of the affected tiles — a claim made after that window may not be accepted. This 48-hour window does not apply if you've received the wrong item or an item not as described. Once tiles are installed, they are deemed accepted and a transit-damage claim can no longer be made.

If upon reviewing your order you find significant damage and need replacements, please contact our team at (02) 7804 4588 or via email sales@tilemall.com.au. Our helpful staff will guide you through the next steps.
