Should I seal my tiles?

Whether a tile needs sealing depends on its material, finish and any factory-applied treatment. Natural stone and porous materials may need sealing, while many glazed ceramic and porcelain products do not. Do not apply a sealer solely because a tile is described as polished.

Check the manufacturer’s care instructions for your exact tile and grout before applying a product. Ask your installer or Tilemall for the relevant guidance if you are unsure. Sealing does not replace the required waterproofing system.
